On Thursday, September 1, Dalton Zehr wheeled the  Redline Speedsports #7-11 into victory lane to secure his spot as the State Park Speedway Season Champion!

Earlier this season on August 5, Dalton conquered the title of 2016 SLM Season Champion at Golden Sands Speedway.

Dalton and the #7-11 will both be back to GSS tomorrow, September 5 for the TUNDRA Series Round 5. This time, Dalton will be in his #119 TUNDRA car while the #7-11 will be piloted by Ernie Schlough for the second time this season. During the last TUNDRA event at State Park Speedway, Dalton and Ernie battled against each other. While Dalton ran into trouble early and had an amazing come back to a podium finish, Ernie led 65 of the 75 lap feature before a track incident finished his night.

As the 2016 racing season is quickly winding down, the Redline Speedsports #7-11 and Dalton will make one of their final appearances at the Marshfield Motor Speedway for their Annual Fall Shootout on Friday/Saturday, September 9-10. They will be competing for four championship races that weekend.

Friday night is the Jim Back Memorial in which the CWRA  SLM Champion will be crowned. Saturday will be the make-up race from August 27th’s mist out at MMS for the Yellow River Racing Series Championship race. Currently, Dalton is trailing by two points to the talented, young driver, Derek Kraus. Finally, Saturday evening Dalton will be battling Ben Pettis and Ernie Schlough for not only the MMS Season Championship but also the Kafka Granite Dash 4 Cash.

Final planned events for the season for Dalton in the #7-11 will be on October 6 & 7 at the Oktoberfest at LaCrosse Speedway. He will be competing in “The Futures” race on Thursday evening and the Dick Trickle 99 event on Friday.

Redline Speedsports #7-11, Crew, and Dalton Zehr will be competing in the ‘The Happening’ tomorrow evening, Thursday, June 2 at State Park Speedway. The team is hoping for another win after an exciting finish on Monday at Golden Sands Speedway’s Battle of the Legends Part 2. On Monday Dalton wheeled the #7-11 into victory lane by passing Ty Majewski, one of the best SLM drivers in the country, with 2 laps to go for the win. In one week, Wednesday, June 8th, Marshfield Motor Speedway will be hosting their 4th Annual Dick Trickle Memorial 99 in which the #7-11 will be piloted by Kenny Wallace, FOX SPORTS commentator and former Sprint Cup driver. Dalton will also be racing in this event with his Coleman Racing #119. The Redline Speedsports/Dalton Zehr Racing crew is excited to participate in this event.
